Jaroslav Polák embarked on his career in the pharmaceutical industry after completing his Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Comenius University in Bratislava and University of Barcelona. He later advanced his education with specialized training in Permitted Daily Exposure determination and Beta-Lactams Activity and Toxicology from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno and the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, respectively.
He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector, having worked in various capacities including Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance. Jaroslav has a proven track record of cooperation with over 130 audits across Europe, North America, and Asia, and has been involved in product transfers, CMO evaluations, and supporting validation, biocompatibility studies and various phases of clinical trials. He has demonstrated his expertise in GMP, GDP, and GLP conditions, working with renowned multinational companies and regulatory bodies on the small molecules, MABs, peptide vaccines and more.
He is highly skilled in cross-cultural management and project coordination, with a deep understanding of regulatory guidelines including EU and US GMP, ICH, and ISO standards. His passion for quality and safety in pharmaceutical manufacturing has led him to contribute to various projects, including the preparation of risk management plans and safety update reports.
Jaroslav has also lectured at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, sharing his knowledge in pharmaceutical services and social pharmacy. His dedication to the field extends to his active participation in the Slovak Academy of Science, where he oversees the quality of analyzed materials under GMP and GLP conditions.
