We are pleased to inform you that The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council is organizing Source India 2018, a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet in Surat from 21st September to 23rd September 2018. Source India 2018 is being organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.
Nearly 200 member exporters of SRTEPC will be exhibiting their products during the event. The exhibitors will represent the entire cross section of our members spread across the various Man-made Fibre Textile Clusters in the country.
In order to further enrich the experience and valuable time of the invited International Buyers, the Council is organizing two Fashion Shows that will be conceptualized to showcase the possibilities of the versatility and adaptability of Indian Man-made Fibre Textile Products and Accessories to all the International Buyers present during the event. In addition SRTEPC will also include a ‘Theme Pavilion’ to display the trends and forecasts for Fabrics. The objective of this 3 day International Buyer Seller Meet is to build and develop long term relationships between International Buyers and our Member Exporters. The Council is arranging for Networking Dinners to offer an informal meeting place for exchange of thoughts and ideas between its member exhibitors and the international buyer fraternity that will assemble for the event.
This unique and trade mark Reverse Buyer Seller Meet of the Council offers an excellent platform to the relevant and interested buyers in the Republic of Slovakia to source their requirements of Man-made Fibre Textile products under one roof. New and upcoming companies, old and traditional textile houses as well as large Indian conglomerates along with the traditional products, will also be exhibiting new products in the latest designs, as per international trends to cater to the discerning buyers in your country.

The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Culture in the Slovak Republic (INDCHAM) have an MOU in place to build and develop relationships between the members of our respective organizations, we seek your kind guidance and support to invite 6 to 8 medium to large scale of operation buyers who are genuinely interested in sourcing their requirements for Man-made Fibre Textile Products from India.
Since the event is being organized under grant of the MAI scheme of the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, SRTEPC has put in place guidelines and parameters for the selection of the buyers to be invited. All the buyers will be reimbursed return economy class air fare (subject to maximum ceiling), free hotel accommodation for three nights and local transportation during the event.
The guidelines and parameters for selection are:
- The Buying Company has to be registered with the INDCHAM as its member (Request INDCHAM to provide a reference letter)
- The Buying Company has to have their own registered website and company based email id which has to be shared in the Nomination Form
- The Buying Company needs to share details of the imports of Man-made Fibre Textile Products made by them for the past 3 years.
Basis the requirements of Man-made Fibre Textile Products in the Republic of Slovakia as discussed in our communications, we would appreciate if you can send us a list of 10 to 12 medium and large scale buyers, as per the above guidelines, spread across the textile product value chain. We will place this list with the details of each company before the appointed ‘Steering Committee’ for the selection process.
